Facebook and Meta are the largest social media platforms in the world. More than likely your target audience is using Facebook and/or a Meta app in some form of fashion. If you want to be able to reach your target audience on these apps, you need to be able to advertise to them.
In order to advertise on Facebook, your company needs to have a Meta Business Page created. After you create a business page, you then have to create an ad page for your company and give permission to the company to own it.
*side note: we recommend when creating your Facebook business page to use an [email protected] – this makes it possible to still access the page even if the person running it leaves your company.
However, there is more. A lot of companies use a marketing company to run their digital campaigns. In order for those companies to run these campaigns, they will need agency access to your pages.
Luckily for you, we have this step perfectly laid out and an easy-to-follow step-by-step process to make this work:
Digital Marketing Access
Facebook – (Company) needs access
- Navigate to the meta business suite homepage
- click the dropdown menu next to your business asset on the left side
- click the gear icon on the right side of the menu
- go to business settings
- go to pages
- click the page you want to share with us then click Assign partners

- click business id

- then enter this: XXXX (Company will provide this to you)
- select this button at the bottom and hit next

Facebook ad account for collective
- now go down to as accounts and do the same steps as above
- check the manage ad account button and click next

Extra Tips and Tricks You May Need👀
Google Ads Account
- go to tools and settings (wrench icon on top of page)
- click access and security
- hit the blue plus button
- enter digital marketers email into the email and click admin access, then send the invitation
Google Analytics
- click gear icon in the bottom left corner
- in the second column open "property access management"
- hit the blue plus in the top right corner and add user
- enter digital marketers email *again* into the email and click administrator access then hit add in the top right corner
