Where are you from?
I grew up in Aberdeen, SD but have lived in Fargo for over 20 years.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I have the most amazing husband and three daughters who bring so much joy to my life! I love to-do lists, live music, family game nights, and Celsius!
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?
Melissa McCarthy! She is hilarious—and she can sing. I would love for my movie to be a musical. Life would be so much more fun if everyone regularly burst out in song and choreographed dance.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
As a mom of three, I don’t have a lot of spare time. I am an introvert, so I enjoy my alone time. I love listening to music, being outdoors, binge-watching TV series, and watching classic movies from the 80’s.
What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?
I have a 220-pound English Mastiff named Gus. He thinks he is a lap dog!
What part of your position provides the most value?
Relationships! I absolutely love connecting with others and building relationships.
Tell us about your experience.
I have over 20 years of marketing experience spanning broadcast, local government, higher education, and working with clients in a variety of industries through the agency world. The past 10 years of my career have been focused on digital marketing. I am an expert in email marketing automation, website management and SEO, social media strategy, digital advertising, analytics, and measurement.
What part of your job do you believe makes the most impact?
Achieving measurable results. Digital marketing is so amazing because it is so trackable. I love helping clients achieve their goals through strategic digital tactics and being able to explain the impact of their investment.
Why does our community matter to you?
There are so many opportunities and experiences available in Fargo/Moorhead. I appreciate all that is available for me and give back as much as I can. That seems to be a standard in our community which makes for a great balance of give and take… and helps make the harsh winters a little more tolerable.
What are some of your goals at Spotlight?
I am excited to use my digital advertising experience to take our client’s marketing efforts to the next level. My goals are to understand each client and deliver results that meet and exceed their goals.
