The Young Entrepreneur Council recently did a study profiling eight of its members on what effect location has on their company’s culture. Participants from San Fransisco, New York City, Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh; College Park, Maryland; Durham, North Carolina and of course Fargo, North Dakota were all profiled.
The section is called “Channeling The Midwest Mentality” and Spotlight Media CEO Mike Dragosavich was quoted saying, “Fargo is a drastic change of pace, there’s a Midwest work mentality that we pride ourselves on. We work hard, but we have a priorities right.”
The article describes Fargo as a community-oriented city that puts people over career advancement.
