Spotlight Media Volunteers At The Ronald McDonald House

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Trying to find time to volunteer can be hard, but the team at Spotlight Media makes it one of their top priorities. This month, a few team members got to represent Spotlight Media by volunteering to cook and serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Fargo. Sales Intern Rylee Wznick, Office Manager Nicole Housel, Account Representative Jenny Johnson and bonus team member Piper Hemingway (daughter of Business Operations Manager Heather Hemingway) took an evening off to serve dinner to families whose children are receiving medical care in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

“I thought it would be a fun one to get our team involved,” Johnson said. “(It’s) such an important organization that helps families when they are the most vulnerable.”

The RMHC of the Red River Valley provides home-like comfort, support and care for families in need. Johnson said that volunteers who serve dinner at the RMHC take the burden of figuring out meals off the families who may not have the means to go home and enjoy a home cooked meal.

“The funnest part was working together,”  she said. “I think everyone enjoyed meeting … the families and hearing how appreciative they were.”

The volunteers enjoyed meeting the families, serving dinner to those in need and giving back to the community. They can’t wait to come back soon![/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”3″ images=”4274,4275″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
