Where are you from?
I grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota, and now I’m based in Fargo. Both places feel like home in different ways.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I love being creative, connecting with people, and bringing ideas to life. Outside of work, I’m happiest when I’m on the lake, traveling somewhere new, or spending time with friends and family.
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?
Probably someone like Claire Kittle, she’s fun, stylish, and real, but also super down-to-earth. That’s the vibe I try to bring into my own life too.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Lake days, hands down. I love being on the water, it’s where I feel the most relaxed and recharged. Traveling is a close second.
What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?
I always end up with way too many drinks at once. I’ll grab a coffee, then a water, then maybe an energy drink… and suddenly I’ve got five half-finished cups sitting around me.
What part of your position provides the most value?
Helping businesses show up in a way that feels authentic. Social media is such a powerful tool, and I love turning it into something that actually connects with people.
Tell us about your experience.
I’ve worked with all kinds of businesses and industries, which has taught me how to adapt quickly and find the best ways to tell each brand’s story.
What part of your job do you believe makes the most impact?
I think it’s the moments when clients see their vision come to life and realize their brand has a real presence online. That’s when it feels impactful.
Why does our community matter to you?
Community is everything. It’s where people come together, support each other, and grow. Being part of that through Spotlight makes the work even more meaningful.
What are some of your goals at Spotlight?
To keep growing in strategy and leadership while also building strong relationships with both clients and our team. I want to help create social content that’s fun, effective, and true to who we are.
