Spotlight Media is excited to introduce our newest Spotlight Media new hire, Tracy! With 27 years of marketing and media experience and a deep love for North Dakota, Tracy brings a wealth of knowledge, a strong work ethic, and plenty of spunk to everything she does. As a Spotlight Media new hire, she joins our growing team with a passion for building lasting client relationships and helping businesses across the region reach their marketing goals. Get to know her a little better below.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Solen, ND, a very small town on the Standing Rock Reservation. I have lived in Bismarck, ND for 36 years.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I have been married to Ryan for almost 25 years. Our oldest son, Judson, is a senior at NDSU, and we have girl/boy twins. Piper is a freshman at Bismarck State College and Jayger is a freshman at Valley City State University.
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?
Reese Witherspoon, because I have been told that I look like her and she is full of spunk like me.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
I love yoga, pilates, walking, watching my son play basketball, and spending time with my family.
What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?
I refuse to act my age.
What part of your position provides the most value?
Working with clients on their marketing goals and objectives is where I find the most value. Every business has a different story, and helping tell it well is what I love most.

I have been in marketing and media for 27 years. Over that time I have worked with clients across a wide range of industries, and each relationship has taught me something new about what makes marketing actually work.
What part of your job do you believe makes the most impact?
Building trusting and long lasting relationships with your clients. When clients feel supported and heard, the results follow.
Why does our community matter to you?
I have lived in North Dakota my entire life. I love the friendly and kind people that we are blessed to have in this great state. The sense of community here is something you cannot find just anywhere, and I feel lucky to call it home.
What are some of your goals at Spotlight?
My goal is to work hard and grow with an amazing company and team for many years to come. I am excited to bring my experience to Spotlight Media and contribute to the continued success of our clients and the agency as a whole.
