Meet Tyler Duclos: a Spotlight Team Interview

Where are you from?

Walker, Minnesota

Tell us a little bit about you.

I am 23 years old and have a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead. 

If there was a movie about your life, who would play you and why?

Miles Teller, because for some odd reason, he’s the one who I’ve been compared to the most. 

What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?

I enjoy writing, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

What’s a ridiculous fact about yourself?

I had back surgery when I was 17 years old.

What part of your position provides the most value?

Being an important part of a legitimate advertising agency will provide me with wonderful experience in the world of marketing, and this position provides room to grow and expand my knowledge and skills. 

Tell us about your experience.

While I haven’t been at Spotlight too long quite yet, I have really enjoyed meeting all of my new coworkers and I’m really excited to learn more and make some great memories with some great people.

What part of your job do you believe makes the most impact?

The part of my job that makes the most impact is that I help make sure the advertisements for print are all accounted for and that our clients are taken care of and satisfied with our work.

Why does our community matter to you?

The community of Fargo matters to me because I have seen how people come together to support wonderful causes, and our community exudes the feeling of We’re all in this together, and I value that a lot.

What are some of your goals at Spotlight?

My goal is to expand my skills as a worker in every sense I can. I also want to help Spotlight succeed in any and all endeavors we set out for!
